Generator is an important part of any Power Plant. It’s the asset that coverts the other form of energy into electricity and hence the most critical part of any plant. It costs a major portion of the Plant and hence its protection is vital. Generator protections are the most diverse kind of protections and hence understanding their purpose, working philosophy and settings is important to ensure their reliability and maintainability. The purpose of the training is to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge that will cover all necessary practical aspects.

Trainer Profile

Trainer has been associated with Power Generation sector for past 15 years in different roles and responsibilities in the Maintenance and Projects functions. He has completed his MBA from IBA Pakistan, M.E and B.E from N.E.D University of Engineering and Technology Pakistan. He is Chartered Engineer from Engineering Council UK and Certified Project Management Professional. He has been involved in Construction and commissioning of Substations, Grid stations and Power Plants. He is currently engaged as a Manager Electrical and I&C for leading Power Generation company. He has delivered trainings to leading corporates on Project Management, Generator Protection, Grid Protection, Excitation System and Power Transformers Maintenance.
